Come Join The Fort Worth Claims Association! The Association holds regularly scheduled meetings at the Woodhaven Country Club on the third Thursday of each month, excluding September. Our meetings begin at 11:30 am. The location is 913 Country Club Lane in Fort Worth, Texas 76112. Their phone number is 817-457-5150. We have speakers at each meeting with approved continuing education hours for licensed adjusters. The cost is $15.00 per person with reservation, $20.00 per person without reservation. Click here for a map Upcoming Meetings: Our speaker is Attorney John Malanga and his presentation topic is "Uninsured Motorists in Texas ." The presentation is certified for 1 hour CE. Menu: Santa Fe Chicken in Cilantro Cream Sauce, Tossed Green Salad, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Green Beans and Strawberry Cheesecake. Please RSVP if possible by noon on Monday so that a headcount can be confirmed for lunch.
Also, immediately following our general meeting there will be a Golf Committee Meeting. Anyone who wants to join this committee, please make plans to stay. We want to start planning our annual tournament now in hopes of having a successful tournament this year to raise money for our scholarships.
**** Please be advised that Tarrant County College is one of the leading community colleges in offering insurance training including ALL lines adjuster training, review courses for INS,AIC, and CPCU; as well as continuing Education for all licensees. In addition they offer a 3 hour course covering the new requirements for liability claims and reporting to Medicare. The next dates are March 12th and May 7th.
